Speaking of food, The Grill is an on-site cafe serving juicy burgers and ice-cold drinks with a stellar view of the lake. If the menu doesn't suit you or your crew, the marina's proximity to other McCall hotspots offers plenty of dining options, like Steamers Steak & Seafood.

Because Mile High Marina is near downtown, you're only steps away from discovering other McCall landmarks. Continue exploring the Gem State's stunning outdoors with a hike at Ponderosa State Park, or take your SUP rental to Rotary Park, which features a non-motorized launch.

No matter which vessel you're interested in, make reservations well in advance of your arrival. While walk-ups are welcome, availability may be limited due to high demand.

For an adrenaline-filled half or full day on the lake, you can't go wrong with a jet ski. Also known as Personal Watercraft (PWC), you must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver's license. No matter your age, all renters are required to watch a short safety video before they're allowed on the water.

Next up are the two classes of pontoon boats: the eight-seater and the ten-seater. The smaller vessel is 20' in length, while the 10-seater is 22'. Both come with a Bimini Cover and can be rented for a half-day or full-day. These are ideal for cruising Payette Lake, fishing, and exploring the vast shoreline.

When you want speed and thrills, rent a surf or runabout boat! The Axis Wakeboard/Surf Boat is 22' long and is designed for wake surfing and wakeboarding. While not necessary, prior experience operating a surf boat is highly recommended. The Runabout is perfect for tubing or wakeboarding, while many rent simply to experience high-speed action on the water.

Self-powered fun is available with a kayak or SUP. These may be rented for half-day or full-day rentals and add an extra layer of adventure when exploring nearby shoreline parks.

After a day on Payette Lake, head upstairs to The Grill to celebrate. You'll find burgers, fish and chips, wraps, salads, and a kids' menu. They have a variety of beers along with soft drinks and iced tea.
