JJ\u2019s Cantina in the heart of Cholla Bay proved to be an ideal outdoor venue for the band to put on a spontaneous jam after a week of recording. January Jam was born!<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Over the years, RCPM\u2019s beachside jam to open the year has expanded from JJ\u2019s Cantina to diverse music venues across town. However, the music always comes back to its roots on the steps of JJ\u2019s, overlooking the bay. Building on JJ Cantina\u2019s legendary history, Roger Clyne is now one of the owners of the famed location, along with five others who have made Rocky Point their home.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cholla Bay<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/quotes.casago.com\/rocky-point\/things-to-do\/cholla-bay-community\/\">Cholla Bay<\/a> on the western side of Rocky Point is a community within a community. What was once principally one big jam has grown into a nearly four-day music festival. Another popular part of January Jam weekend is the annual Canci\u00f3n Tequila Golf Tournament held on Saturday of the jam at <a href=\"https:\/\/quotes.casago.com\/rocky-point\/las-palomas\/?sort_by=random\">Las Palomas<\/a>. RCPM encourages golf, music, and tequila aficionados to make it a colorful and relaxed golf affair.
