About
A telltale sign as to whether a restaurant serves superb cuisine is longevity. With over 29 years of delighting Lake of the Ozarks diners, Michael's Steak Chalet will satisfy and amaze.
Perched on a bluff at mile-marker 28 near Osage Beach, this eatery has consistently captivated the hearts and palates of steak lovers. With breathtaking lake views from indoors and the patio, it's the perfect location for romantic occasions, group get-togethers, and family dining.
Situated in the Old Swiss Village, this unique vacation spot was the brainchild of Rennhardt and Winifred Hilderbrand in the 1930s. The stunning view reminded them of their homeland in Europe, overlooking the Rhine River. Over the years, various restaurants came and went until 1994, when the Wine Garden Restaurant was purchased and transformed into the Michael's Steak Chalet.
Michael's Steak Chalet is renowned for its prime rib and caters to seafood lovers and families with its children's menu. They are also your go-to spot for private dinners or banquets in their Wein Haus, which we'll discuss shortly.
Dining at Michael's Steak Chalet promises to thrill you with its history, scrumptious cuisine, and serene Lake Ozark views.
